that I could do and be anything that wanted. I was on a swim team, both diving and swimming, I camp ,backpack, canoe, and kayak, things that black folks allegedly don’t do. Sometimes, when I speak to young black people, I realize how often we place artificial limits on our horizons which only limits our growth as individuals. People would be suprised at the number of black people who do things that black people don’t do. In fact years ago, I helped organize a group of black men and women to do those things, i.e., things that black people do not do.

Hey Tom … the rows had been drawn for some time and grass was starting to grow. I like starting out with a clean seed bed so I wanted to get rid of the grass. Just re-hipping would have only taken care of the sides of the row and not the top. That’s why I really don’t recommend drawing rows until you’re ready to plant. If it starts raining before you can get back in there, the grass and weeds will grow. Oh, retirement is 100 times better than you could ever imagine. LOL …. Donald

I LOVE timeanddate.com. I could sit there all day plugging in cities and comparing sunrise/sunset times. Can’t complain too much about the sun rising/setting here at 8:30am and 3pm respectively, because I know that come June I’ll have more daylight than I even know what to do with… but in the meantime… I sympathize with you. My motivation is all out of whack and I am typically longing to go to bed around 5pm. Hibernating animals are on to something!

Yes you can store images to any external device. I often store images on flash drives so that I can quickly restore a computer by booting to my flash drive. Hope this helps. Greg

Actually, what he is saying in his email is something quite a fair bit of Singaporeans who have served NS have known about for some time. I take a lot of photos. And, YES, I nearly lost my photos but was able to retrieve them with a lot of help. I now store them on and external harddrive, CD’s and offsite with Carbonite.I also store my photos in my Creative Memories program. They are sorted by event, person, activity and chronological. Since I almost lost 34 years of pictures, I don’t think I can be too careful in backing up my photos.

The pressure of academic success in Asia is astounding, isn’t it? I grew up with some semblance of what you describe, but not as much back in the 80s and 90s and my parents were a little bit more ‘casual’. But I still saw it with my peers, I see it with the kids these days. And it’s sad. I believe children should be well-rounded, to have time to play, involve themselves in sports and other extra curricular activities.

This is an interesting issue and I’m happy you’re making people aware. I believe it’s happening in Northern Michigan as well (you may already know this since you did some research on Nestle). Although I don’t know if it’s Nestle who’s damaging Michigan’s waters or not, but one of the water bottling companies is doing it. In fact, one of the areas where I used to swim as a child is now so barren, it’s shocking. The water is just disappearing! I agree with your conclusion. In theory, there should be a balance between the economics and the legal aspects involved. However, I believe that in practice, it is not as.easy to resolve this issue. In administrative circles we have had the „generalist vs specialist“ argument for a long time…without satisfactory resolution, is what I think. But yes, nations would do well for themselves if there is an appropriate mix of both economics and law experts in their teams. The challenge would be to find that balance!

For sure Saudi is lacking in the tourism sector. They are slowly catching up…I’ve just discovered that they are now offering bus tours (hop on & off type) throughout Riyadh. The wireframe tool (HotGloo) I’ve been using for about 9 months now also has the 960 grid as a background guide, but you can adjust the gutter and column widths which is pretty nice. I do agree that the 20px gutter is way too wide. It leaves content areas floating in space.
