We arrived in Holland in 1951 and like everyone else had to go through climate adjustments.Yes,we also had to go through racial slurs and tough times in Den Haag.We worked through these and ended up with alot of Hollandse friends that were there for us . Lots of great memories,while in school and also at work.Wished i could turn the clock back and meet my Hollandse friends again.Soerabaja,and Den Haag are part of my life memories that i always will treasure.

Well, a good cracker (evil hacker) will always be able to trace the packets (data) to a point quite near where you live, usually not the exact address, though. However, in order to do that he will need to send data right to your computer if he wants to get to the closest node. (To do that, however, he’d have to talk to you using an instant messenger, or use a trojan) With the ip alone he can only trace to the point where your ISP sends your data to the internet, which is usually quite a bit away from where you live.

I have only ever seen the Chronicles of Chaos in a bookstore myself, Borders usually had one or all three. Definitely never noticed a Prospero in the store, though I could easily have overlooked it. Haaa! That’s funny. I also went vegan about 1 month ago. Forks over knives was kinda of the last straw, but the many good reasons for eating vegan just sort of overwhelmingly made sense. Responsive coding seems to be the best solution available so far as like you have mentioned, different sites and/or URL’s, mobile detection redirects, etc., etc., etc. make things harder than they need to be unless you are a business with the extra time and web resources to keep multiple versions updated.

I’ve just seen something… The dates don’t match. The controversy in the newspapers dates to 2008; the journal article is dated 2011. It must be a different (though similar) article that caused the initial controversy.I understand where both sides are coming from. I’m loathe to see science as “just one world view” (especially when YECs don’t reject science; they insist that science is on their side). The thing is the PRS have really shot themselves in the foot here and harmed the artists they want to protect. Times change, for years we have been ripped off for CD's now at long last we can legally download music cheaply. If i see a video on You Tube i'll save it and more often then not if i wish to download it i pay for it on I-Tunes – because i've heard it first on You Tube i've decided to make a purchase where the artist benefits – so who is losing out now.

I think that as a rule, liturgical churches are the ones that celebrate Advent–Presbyterian, Catholic, Episcopalian, etc. We never have but it is such a beautiful, meaningful tradition we may have to do it one year.

i wont be holding my breath for any change i was taught the metric system in school! because we were told thats what we will be using by the 21st century, world wide? i think we will see it happening around about 2050 in the uk? can someone explain why children taught in 1976 when only metric was taught are more inteligent than those taught today according to recent newspaper reports ?

I used to frequent KTP when I was up that way, but the last time I was there, I got muzzled about three times in 30 sec, and turned around and left. And I won't EVER go back. At my dealer's, the guns are checked, handed across the counter open for inspection, and people are ‚promptly‘ and courteously reminded if they muzzle anyone (I can only think of 1 time in 8 years that I've seen that happen.

From Halloween forward the New Years eve and day the assumption is that we are all supposed to be happy and great things are headed our way and that is all a bunch of BS. The highest suicide rate is after New Years. This is due to false expectations and loneliness.
I only have one thing to say eminent domain is ok for everyone except those who lived there. We had a project come to life in our town and while business owners of 30 plus years squwaked and they were eminent domained it gave birth to an area that the whole community can enjoy and tourist will enjoy. But for those who lost there prime spot in the community bad news.I think the amount they received for the area was not represented in loss of future income and feel for the families of those business.

I understand about protections and laws.But it seems there is a rather large investment of technology and time that went into tracking down and prosecuting over these kills.Then there is the cost to the economy for every day the miscreants are incarcerated, the costs of trials and all that. When I think of prison terms that you call out for these people, and what a murderer or negligent or corrupt regulator face, I have to wonder how much longer we can afford prison terms and prosecutions like this.

I suppose charitable advertising already exists, mainly in the form of sponsorships where donors receive ad space or recognition for their support. Perhaps something like embedded advertising, then, would be more appropriate. But empowering your consumers to advertise for you in the name of charity? Really? Isn't that mroe like swindling? I'm in a moral quandry. . .

Lots of people returning to simpler, more whole food-type eating due to intolerences/allergies. We've had to do it for O's skin… once you get into the swing of it, it's just normal life!
