What can I do now? (Asthmatic Bronchitis)?At first it was the flu. I was prescribed tamaflu after the 4th week of being sick. It’s gone now, as it is the 5th week I’ve been feeling bad. I find that when I have them, I harm less. When I don’t have them, I have an incessant urge to get more, and by the time I get them, I’m triggered just from thinking about it so much, and am more likely to use them.

There are a lot of gray areas in the industry, that's for sure. I'm almost as cross when I see brands putting forward perfumers who obviously didn't do anything worthy of their talent. But at least the most common practice now for big brands is to acknowledge them (except at Procter & Gamble where there's a no-name policy). It's the small brands – including at least one very well-respected house with wonderful fragrances – that are now the main offenders.

I trip out when I hear older adults using Spanglish. The first time I encountered it was with Ralph’s parents. All the older adults I know, especially those close to Zeferino/Shorty’s age, just speak Spanish. Zeferino/Shorty reminds me of my grandpa in his DIY spirit. Hi Jan,I don't think you can change the size of the window, but under Linux you can move any window with the mouse by holding down the Alt key. Just hold down Alt and click and drag anywhere on the window, maybe in that way you can work around the problem.

I LOVE it – I got a free sample from them after filling in their skin analysis thing, and have just ordered a full bottle for when it runs out. I do use it with water, and find that works best for me. I use it after Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser on an evening, and on its own on a morning. I have sensitive, reactive skin, and this has helped calm it and dry up some pesky spots too. Each to their own, hey?

Not too much new this week, and still some of the same stuff missing. For example, the idea that the Cathedral got first abortion and then gay marriage legalized is supported by the fact that the Cathedral wished it and it was done. But that leaves unanswered the questions of why and how. U.S. Supreme Court Justices are nominated by the President, confirmed by the Senate, and retain office for life. At first glance, it seems the Cathedral should be unable to control who gets appointed to the SC or what they do once they get there.

Thinking like that is really impressive

I am happy to have nailed this one, despite grumblings here too. Stanley Elkin deserves some praise or vindication or something: The Magic Kingdom and The Living End are great books. Time for a revival!

The best way to thaw is overnight in the? refrigerator, the second best way is to run cool water over them until they thaw. If they smell fishy, try sprinkling with lemon juice and letting that sit on there a while before cooking. I’ve also heard you can soak “fishy” fish in milk, but haven’t tried that with shrimp. It’s more of a collection of memories. Until I was about 20, my family had a lake house where all of the extended family gathered on a weekly basis. As kids, we spent so much time there with our cousins, swimming, fishing, riding bikes, playing volleyball and whiffle ball, and of course enjoying gigantic cookouts. Between our 3 sets of parents, my husband and I are lucky to have 3 similar “summer homes” in the family. I can only hope our children (first one due in two weeks!!) will get to grow up as close to all of their cousins, with such special memories.
