I can speak for doctors. It's certainly a long slog and the opportunity cost is probably not worth the income strictly speaking in terms of economics, but the work and subject matter that one studies are truly exhilarating. Being a doctor is a rewarding career. I could never be an investment banker, no matter how much they supposedly earn. Academics or research would be the only comparable careers in my opinion.

I have several parked domains on my VPS that have been ‘wasting’ away. I decided to use Google’s “Adsense for Domains” and one of the options is to put the domain up for sale. If you choose this option, you have to give it a URL to send people to for info. When you do this, you can use a wildcard (*) to append the domain name at the end of a query string. With your post, I was able to put a template on my VPS that calls for a query string in several places which makes the website look customized to whatever domain people clicked in from. There is nothing better than a stop at a Tim Horton’s! We’re so spoiled — have one right across the street, one in the underground mall and another about a block and a half from here. I love, love, love their coffee!!There are definitely quilt stores here in Toronto worth a visit. You might want to check out quilt shops in Kingston you could visit as well on one of your trips to Montreal. It’s a bit of a drive, but definitely something you could manage in one day, I think. And I’m sure Kingston has quilt shops.

I'm still seeing some webpages open in a much smaller area with scrollbars than the available rendering area within Chrome. It seems to happen almost always when I restart Chrome with a page from arstechnica.com open. I just installed Win8 RP and it happens again, so it must either be in Chrome or my profile (somehow??). Hitting the Home button then Back opens the page at full size.

I have worked in the forest industry most of my life both union and non-union jobs.The CEP and other unions are hurting due to the membership drop and are trying to gain some momentum.They need help like the industry does.it is a tough slug out there, and we have not hit bottom yet.We can only hope things turn around soon.
