We served it with a blob of greek yoghurt, my Mum loved it, however it was a bit too eggy for my hubby and I. My Mum has taken the entire rest of the cake home so she is a big fan!!

Surprisingly enough, I’ve found having a humanities degree not that bad of a thing; in fact, I’ve even done better than people I know with commerce and econ degrees (so far). The trick? – knowing how to market yourself and then taking some practical courses. You can always get an MBA or something later. It’s always our decision who we want to be.

the town of westport ownes the island and if you want to spend the night you need to reserve a camp site and get a permit ($20.00 i think) thru the town hall. There is a group of mostly children 1 to 14 and there parents that venture for a camp out once sometime twice a season- they stay for sometime 2 nights- amazing for these kids to have a lord of the flies (sort of) experience to close to the westport shores- It is one of the highlights of my childrens summer.

Great post, Anthea. Almost everything you mentioned happened to me at four different “trad” publishers. So many editors disappeared (like the drummers in Spinal Tap). I have been so bewildered in the past but now it all makes sense!

I have my home management binder that I love and then I pick up a6×8ish calender planner from the dollar bin at Target each December. I’m a paper calender person and I love that it is small enough to slide into a diaper bag or large purse and yet big enough to see my month at a glance. I just bought a second one this year to help me plan on blog posts, speaking engagements and our volunteer work so I can see workflow at a glance.

I had the same problem and at first used Bodyglide, etc…I TOTALLY solved the issue using a Polar strap instead of the Garmin one.By the way, the Polar strap seems to be more “resilient” to sweat, etc and avoid the “fuzzy HR” which sometimes happens using even the latest “premium Garmin HR strap”

recently I watched Richard Linklater’s “Before Sunrise” and the sequel ” Before Sunset”. Both the films rely only on dialogues, no action, no visuals, but tell you, both the films are my favourite. They are like short stories and leave a kind of nostalgic impression. Do see them.

So true on point #3. I’ve found myself wrestling with a poor attitude because of the wordy content in some songs. It may have a good message but it seems as if the worship teams are the only ones who know it,. Then having to keep reading the lyrics overhead often am distracted and not truly focused on worship.
